How to Make Your House Smell Like Fall Without the Toxic Chemicals
I can say with 98% confidence that Fall is my favorite season–carving pumpkins and turkey, baking enough treats to open a bakery, dressing up in homemade costumes–I love it all!
But the thing that makes me feel the most warm and fuzzy is the smell. I love the smells associated with Fall! Just the other day, walking into the grocery store, my olfactory receptors were greeted with the rejuvenating aromas of cinnamon and ginger. Every cell in my body gave itself a little hug and warmed me from the inside out.
Do I sound ridiculous? Probably, and I’m okay with that. But you know exactly what I’m talking about. And it gives you the feels. If it doesn’t, then you’re probably more of a Summer-person, and I totally understand.
Apart from the obvious ways of making your house smell like Fall–actually baking something, using a plug-in air freshener (which can be toxic…but that’s a topic for another article), or burning a candle–you can get the same smells with natural, organic ways you can feel confident using around you and your family.
